Destination Wedding at Acre Resort

As a California-based photographer, my journey to Pennsylvania for Abby and Will’s Historic Acres of Hershey wedding felt like a beautiful adventure.

Abby and Will chose a perfect summer day to tie the knot. The weather graced us with its warm presence, and the air was filled with love and excitement. Abby’s vision for the wedding day was impeccable, and the vendor team brought her dreams to life with flawless execution.

The day was brimming with thoughtful details, each reflecting the couple’s unique love story. From the elegant floral arrangements to the sophisticated décor, every element was a testament to their journey together.

I arrived in Pennsylvania a few days earlier to cover both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. This extended stay allowed me to immerse myself in the celebration and capture intimate moments throughout. Being present at the rehearsal dinner was a special treat, as it gave me a deeper understanding of Abby and Will’s bond with their friends and family.

One thing that stood out to me was the sense of togetherness. Despite being “just the photographer,” I felt embraced by a warm, welcoming family. Laughter, tears, and joy were shared freely, and I was honored to document these genuine moments.

This experience reaffirmed a belief that’s fundamental to my work: the importance of a deep, trusting relationship between the photographer and the couple. To truly capture the essence of such a special day, it’s vital to connect on a level that goes beyond the lens. I strive to be more than a photographer; I aim to be a friend who’s there to preserve your precious memories.

As I reflect on Abby and Will’s wedding, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be part of their special day. The charm of Historic Acres of Hershey and the warmth of the people have left an indelible mark on my heart.

For those planning a wedding on the East Coast or dreaming of a celebration at the Historic Acres of Hershey, I’m more than ready to embark on another journey from California to capture your special moments. My camera and heart are always prepared to capture love in its purest form.
