There’s something uniquely special about getting married at SF City Hall. The grandeur of the space, the elegance of the light, the quiet moments in the middle of a bustling city—it all sets the stage for a kind of romance that feels both timeless and personal.
John & Julia decided to keep things simple: just the two of them, promising forever under the dome of San Francisco’s most iconic building. No big crowd. No elaborate timeline. Just intentional vows, joyful tears, and a quiet walk through the marble halls as newlyweds. It was honest and beautiful—and exactly what they wanted.
Over the past few months, I’ve noticed more and more couples choosing to get married at SF City Hall, especially in the first half of the year. Inquiries have been rolling in nonstop, and I don’t blame anyone—this place is truly something special. I’ve had the honor of photographing so many love stories here, like Vina & David’s intimate ceremony, or Umesh & Nicole’s heartfelt celebration. Each one is different, but all share that same energy—elegant, effortless, deeply emotional.
✨ 2 hours – Perfect if you’re planning a simple elopement or civil ceremony and want beautiful portraits inside and outside of City Hall.
✨ 3 hours – A great fit if you’re inviting a few guests and want to include family photos or extra time for portraits.
✨ 4+ hours – Ideal if you want to include getting ready, a first look, a second portrait location, or a celebratory dinner afterward.
I require a 2-hour minimum for SF City Hall elopements, starting at $2400.
If you’re planning to get married at SF City Hall and want a photographer who knows every corner of the building, who will help you feel at ease in front of the camera, and who’s there to capture the moments that matter—I’d love to be that person for you.
