Tanita and Joseph met me on the coast of Pacifica for a mini couples session in the fall, and the weather could not have been better. Cloudy, moody skies. Wind coming in off the ocean. That kind of dramatic, overcast light that makes everything feel a little softer, a little more cinematic. The kind of day that makes you want to slow down and just take it all in.
They leaned into the moment completely—walking the cliffs, laughing through the wind, wrapped up in each other with the crashing waves behind them. No need for much direction. The coast did its thing, and so did they.
Sessions like this are some of my favorite. Natural, grounded, and full of movement. A reminder that you don’t need perfect blue skies for beautiful photos—just two people who are fully present.
