Some places just mean more. For Sophia and Kyle, Mount Tamalpais is where it all shifted—where Kyle proposed not long before at the very location we took these photos.
Coming back here for their engagement photos felt easy. Familiar. Like stepping into something they’d already lived, just this time with a little more time to soak it in.
We explored the mountain tops just before sunset and were met with one of those rare evenings where everything aligns. A cloud inversion sat below us, clouds stretching for miles, while we stood above it in clear skies and warm, golden light. It felt quiet up there in the best way.
Sophia and Kyle didn’t need much from me. They just were. Laughing, pulling each other in close, taking in the view and everything it holds for them. You could feel how much this place mattered without anyone having to say it.
That’s the beauty of choosing a location like this. It’s not just about how it looks, it’s about what it carries. The memories already there, and the ones you’re still creating.
