Hey, you!

It’s me, Whit. Lover of love, travel and the two coming together. My story goes well beyond the beautiful images you see.

Cozy San Diego Beach Day

Destination Wedding at Acre Resort

I recently spent some time on the coast with Camille and Consolo for their engagement session, and man, San Francisco really showed up for us. We spent the afternoon at one of those wide open beaches with the massive, grassy sand dunes that just feel so quintessentially Northern California.

The weather was picture-perfect and Karl the Fog was nowhere in sight. Honestly, as a San Francisco wedding photographer, you live for days like this. We caught that heavy, golden hour glow right as the sun started to dip, turning the dunes into this warm, hazy backdrop that made everything feel a bit like a dream. Camille and Consolo have this incredibly easy energy together, so my job was pretty much just letting them hang out while I caught the real moments.

Taking San Francisco engagement photos is always a blast because the landscape does so much of the heavy lifting, especially when you get away from the city streets and into the wilder parts of the coast. We wandered through the tall grass and down toward the water, just chasing the light until it disappeared. It was the perfect way to get warmed up before their big day.

I am so stoked to get back behind the camera for these two this fall. They’re getting married at Casa Real, which is going to be such a beautiful contrast to this breezy, coastal session. Going from the wild sand dunes to the timeless, vineyard vibes of Casa Real is going to be an amazing journey to document.

If you’re looking to get out into the dunes and grab some photos that feel like you before your wedding day, I’d love to make it happen.

Whitney

My heart and passion for this work is summed up by the act of service. From the first wedding I ever photographed to ones years later—I’ve yet to come down from the high of being part of a couple’s best day and putting it in digital form to look back on for a lifetime. I take my craft seriously, and that means serving you in all aspects on your wedding day, and the days leading up to it.

Engagements

There’s nothing quite like springtime in San Jose. For a few magical months, the rolling hills of Silicon Valley transform into a vibrant, almost surreal shade of green—lush, alive, and full of promise. It’s hands-down my favorite time of year to shoot, and if you’ve ever driven through the foothills in March or April, you […]
