Alicia and Grant’s wedding at The Barns at Cooper Molera was one of those days that stays with you long after the last glass of champagne is poured. It’s no surprise that their day was picked up by Style Me Pretty and Carats & Cake, because every single corner of the celebration looked like it belonged in a high-fashion editorial. Since I got married at this exact venue myself, I already knew how the historic stone walls and the coastal Monterey light can make everything feel a bit more grounded and timeless, but Alicia and Grant took the aesthetic to an entirely new level.

The overall feel was incredibly high-end and whimsical, rooted in a classic palette of crisp white florals and soft creams. The floral design was massive and organic, creating this ethereal garden atmosphere that softened the rustic architecture of the barns. But beyond the luxury of the decor, what really made the day stand out was the sheer amount of thought put into the personal touches. Alicia’s dad actually hand-built their seating chart, which featured individual charcuterie boards with guests’ names written out by table. It was such a unique, high-concept feature that felt both incredibly elevated and deeply personal.

Every last detail was executed with so much care, from the timeless stationery to the perfectly curated table settings that prioritized clean lines and texture. As a photographer, having a couple that values design this much allows me to lean into a docu-editorial style where the portraits feel like a magazine spread but the moments remain completely real. It was a day full of intentionality, where the luxury didn’t feel stiff, but rather like a warm, bespoke gift to their guests. Watching Alicia and Grant move through the day, surrounded by all that beauty and their favorite people, was a reminder of what a wedding can be when you really pour your heart into the details.

If you’re planning a bespoke, multi-day wedding and want a photographer who will obsess over your details as much as you do, I’d love to tell your story. Book your wedding experience with Wild Love & Wanderlust today and let’s create something legendary.

My heart and passion for this work is summed up by the act of service. From the first wedding I ever photographed to ones years later—I’ve yet to come down from the high of being part of a couple’s best day and putting it in digital form to look back on for a lifetime. I take my craft seriously, and that means serving you in all aspects on your wedding day, and the days leading up to it.

Engagements

There’s nothing quite like springtime in San Jose. For a few magical months, the rolling hills of Silicon Valley transform into a vibrant, almost surreal shade of green—lush, alive, and full of promise. It’s hands-down my favorite time of year to shoot, and if you’ve ever driven through the foothills in March or April, you […]
