Some weddings just hit different. They remind us why we do what we do—why storytelling through photography is more than just capturing a moment. It’s about connection, serendipity, and the unexpected ways our paths cross.
Maddie and Chris’ wedding was exactly that.
Back in 2020, like so many others, I found myself swapping gym workouts for YouTube routines. One of the channels I kept coming back to? MadFit. Day after day, Maddie’s workouts became a constant in an unpredictable time.
Fast forward a year, and in a completely surreal moment, I had the honor of becoming Maddie’s wedding photographer. Her date aligned perfectly with my schedule, and just like that, we were planning how to document her day.
Their wedding was everything Wild Love & Wanderlust is about—stripped down to what matters most. No elaborate venue, no over-the-top production. Just a warm, intimate backyard celebration surrounded by their closest people. The kind of wedding where every detail is personal, and the focus is entirely on the love shared.
The way Chris looked at Maddie. The laughter between friends. The quiet in-between moments that often go unnoticed but mean everything.
This is why I do what I do.
Whether you’re exchanging vows in a backyard or on a mountaintop, my approach stays the same: Document your day in a way that feels true to you. No forced poses, no awkwardness—just honest, artful storytelling that lets you relive it all, exactly as it was.
If you’re planning a wedding that’s all about the experience—not just the aesthetics—let’s make it happen.
